Service operation and retention period

Files uploaded to PixShare are stored temporarily. The service is intended for quick file sharing and not for permanent storage.

• The user may choose a retention period when uploading.
• The maximum duration is limited by the service in order to preserve the temporary nature of the hosting.
• Files are automatically deleted after expiration.
• Deletion may not be instantaneous (a slight technical delay may occur).
• Due to technical constraints (maintenance, server restart or hosting limitations), temporary file availability cannot be guaranteed.

Lorsque le service le permet, certains fichiers peuvent également être envoyés via une API. Les mêmes principes de stockage temporaire, de suppression automatique et d’absence de garantie de conservation s’appliquent aux fichiers envoyés via l’API.

API publique

PixShare peut mettre à disposition une API permettant l’envoi automatisé et la gestion technique de fichiers via des requêtes HTTP.

L’accès à l’API peut nécessiter une clé API personnelle. Toute clé API reste strictement personnelle et ne doit pas être exposée publiquement.

Les actions disponibles peuvent inclure notamment :

• l’envoi de fichiers
• la génération de liens d’accès ou d’affichage
• la récupération d’informations techniques liées au fichier
• la suppression d’un fichier via un lien ou un mécanisme prévu à cet effet

PixShare peut limiter, suspendre ou bloquer l’accès à l’API en cas d’utilisation abusive, de dépassement de quota, de tentative de contournement des limitations ou de non-respect des conditions d’utilisation.

Personal data

PixShare does not require users to create an account.

For security reasons and abuse prevention, certain technical data such as the IP address may be processed temporarily.

These data are used only to:

• prevent abuse of the service
• block access in the event of malicious behavior
• ensure the security and stability of the service

Des informations techniques liées à l’utilisation du site ou de l’API (par exemple journaux d’accès, erreurs, quotas, événements techniques ou données de sécurité) peuvent être enregistrées temporairement lorsque cela est nécessaire au bon fonctionnement, à la protection et à la stabilité du service.

A temporary technical identifier may also be stored in the browser in order to display the history of files uploaded from this browser. This identifier is not used for advertising tracking.

No user profile is created and no commercial use of these data is made.

Liability

The user is responsible for the files they upload and for their compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

L’utilisateur est également seul responsable de l’usage de sa clé API, de la conservation de ses liens sensibles et de l’ensemble des requêtes émises sous son accès.

PixShare acts as a technical hosting provider within the meaning of Article 6-I-2 of French Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN).

The publisher cannot be held responsible for content uploaded by users. However, any clearly illegal content may be removed without prior notice and access to the service may be blocked in case of abuse.

PixShare ne garantit ni la disponibilité permanente du site ou de l’API, ni la conservation continue des fichiers envoyés, ni l’absence d’interruption, de maintenance ou de suppression technique.

Illegal content report

Anyone who believes that content hosted on PixShare is clearly illegal may report it to the service publisher.

The report can be made through the contact form.

The report must contain:

• the URL address of the content concerned
• a description of the disputed content
• the reasons why the content is considered illegal
• the contact details of the person making the report

After receiving a complete report, PixShare may proceed to remove the content concerned as quickly as possible.
